When it comes to social safety nets I think they doing more harm than good because they’re being expanded so a person could live off of them when they should only be promoted as “hand-ups” and not “hand-outs” the programs should be explicitly temporary and come with conditions for being on them as well. Some people might say that they shouldn’t have conditions but they should because the main purpose of the programs should be to enable the person to be self-sufficient and personally responsible for themselves and their family while many people may not like or understand the Libertarian Party I think that more people should be backing them or even just look into libertarianism and promote freedom from invasive government. The federal government should be as small as possible.
